What is pH and why is this important for your health?
pH simply stands for potential of Hydrogen and is a measure of the acid or alkaline level of a substance. for example a pH of between 0 and less than 7 is acidic and a pH of more than 7 up to 14 is alkaline.
You must keep you body in a state of alkalinity to maintain good health, in fact if you allow your internal pH to drop below 6.5 your body is a perfect environment for the development of cancer cells.
The simplest way to test you internal pH is with a pH strip on your tongue first thing in the morning. If your saliva is over 6.5 that is just ok, if it is over 7 that's good, if it is 7.5 that's great.
